Arrow Logger makes Brake Safe's monitoring brake adjustment status available to drivers anytime, anywhere.

Complete a pre-trip inspection without maintaining the foot pedal application with a pedal depressor or a second person.

Check brake adjustment roadside without the need to apply the service brakes.

Arrow Logger has a black acetal, self-lubricating housing and an impact resistant red nylon Arrow indicator. Arrow Logger is attached to the Brake Safe steel bracket and steel U-shaped 'Goalpost' that is pre-measured according to the brake readjustment point. The Brake Safe clevis pin, with a unique tooled point, is attached to the brake adjuster and moves the Arrow pointer through the housing between or beyond the pre-measured reference goalpost.

The Arrow Pointer indicates the furthest point of brake stroke travel and whether the brakes are in or out of adjustment.

Saves Drivers Time.

  • Reduces pre-trip inspection time.
  • Eliminates need to crawl under truck.
  • Driver does not need technical information about brake chamber type and readjustment point.
  • Reduces unnecessary brake adjustment downtime.

Will it stand up to extreme conditions?

Arrow Logger is manufactured with an engineered plastic composition for durability in extreme operation. The indicator is made from high-impact nylon, and the housing is fabricated from durable, self-lubricating acetal ensuring reliable part movement with no binding resistance.

What happens if the housing gets filled with snow, ice, mud or other debris?

Arrow Logger has several features that prevent it from seizing in severe conditions. The housing has 22 tab locking holes that immediately eject debris as the indicator moves through it. The indicator has an ice breaker wedge design that expels ice, cement, lime stone dust build-up, and larger debris.

Can I use it with stroke indicators other than Brake Safe?

Arrow Logger must be used with Brake Safe. If you do not have Brake Safe installed on your equipment, you should consider switching. Brake Safe's accuracy and reliability have made it the stroke indicator of choice for small and large fleets throughout North America.
